My question still stands, is it worth getting? :huh: If it's just a COD or MOH clone but made with the source engine, or even a CS:S WWII style...what's the point? What does it offer that makes it worth buying? And will it be played enough around here to make it worth while? I mean we had a Quake 4 and a Fear server once right? Will DOD vanish down the line too?

the graphics are CS:s quality, it seems pretty good.
its domination style play which makes the gamplay different than MOH and COD.
I personally like it better than COD (especially the second one).
its $20, I bought it, but i had the same worries, right after I bought it they killed the DOD:s server.
now its back, it really will depend on how popular it gets as to wether its a keeper.

It's not a WWII version of CSS, and it's nothing like DM.  The gameplay requires different stratigies entirely.  I've never played either of the two games you mentioned, so I can't compare.

Too many games is one lol. I cant keep up with all the games I am playing right now. But mostly the type of game it is. Im not much of a FPS genre game player to begin with. Then add in the world war II stuff and the game setup...just isn't my style.
