Hey guys im looking for a software for my pc's monitor cause it use to be higher than 1280 by 1024 now thats just the limit and it goes straight to 1600 anyone know anything I can download to make a little more higher in between 1280 by 1024 and 1600?

search for your monitor's name on google..like  "dell ftp 2001 drivers" or whatever the name/model of your monitor is.

MAAAn im also looking for a better driver software for my Radeon card cause maan I was getting owned by Brown man one night cause my frame rate was crappy everytime he came up to me.
I use to be able to play better before. *sighs*? ?

There is no setting that most monitors can handle that is between those two.
As for your frame rates, its because you are trying to run the game at such a high resolution.  My machine is pretty decent, and I run HL2 at 1024x768.  Anything higher and I have to drop quality settings to compensate.

So, outside of your games you must use 1280x1024 or 1600x1200.  In your games you should not be going above 1280x1024, and I recommend 1024x768 unless you suddenly have a 7900GT.

The problems you are having are not because of the drivers for your card, they are because your card is not capable of doing better.

what size monitor you have? even if u bother getting a better card if your monitor isn't big enough it just won't work at bigger resolutions

That isn't a crappy card.
I think you may just want more than you can have.
16x12 = 19" or higher monitor.  Not only that, but 16x12 is difficult for ANY card to run, even the newest ones, if you ahve any sort of eyecandy turned on.

Yeah I think thats exactly the kind of monitor I have...so the monitor effects my gameplay huh? I have exactly the same monitor Raven has soooo RAVEN what size of monitor do you HAVE!! lol I don't want to measure. Wait Wait yeah thats the kind I have. What if I used an HDTV? will it help?

When ever I play doom 3 I have to play it on the MOST LOWEST SETTINGS!!! soo I brought in my flat screen tv to the game room. It hurts my eyes playing it on that tv and it feels blurry. I mean the box says POWER TO play DOOM 3 and when I play doom three on 1024-768
it feels soo damn laggy the frame rates are a bit of a pain for my eyes!!

If your eyes are hurting, it's probably because you don't have the monitor refresh rate set properly.

Right click on your desktop, properties, settings tab, advanced, monitor.

Make sure the "Hide modes this monitor cannot display" is checked, and then choose the highest refresh rate in the list.

Um, well, your monitor is not running at 180.  It may *say* it is, but normally if a monitor can't run at a certain refresh rate it will revert back to 60 - which is frickin MURDER on your eyes.  Be more conservative.  Set it to 80, first, then bump it up until it starts looking bad again.  DO NOT take it past 120, there is no point (120 is as fast as the human eye can process), and you could risk damaging your monitor if you actually do somehow get it to run out of spec.
