Me, Smackintosh and Draco have recorded many demos of the clan in action last night.
We are going to cut some choice clips together and maybe add some music.

"Choice clips" include but are not limited to:

Kick @ss displays of our skillz
Our humerous banter
Kick @ss displays of us messing things up and accidently killing ourselves and teammates
Players trying to reverse spawn kill and then getting "blowed up" after being warned
And probably me improvising some lame rap songs about new maps

Possible uses for this (or these) edited recordings include but are not limited to:

Being posted on the home page to show prospective clan joiners what we are all about
Our own amusement
A nifty way to show clan members what went on when they were not on the sever, kinda like meeting minutes
A major motion picture that will be released by Lions Gate films in late 2007

Hey we could always use more material!

In the console type:

record filename

Then to stop recording type:

stop

It is that easy!
Then upload the file to the site and give the link to Smack and maybe me.
I might try to help Smack sift through the material if I can get my hands on the correct software.

the problem will be resolution of video and format of the videos.
higher resolution will result in HUGE files.
not everyone will have the codecs to view certain videos.

I have like 19 video playing programs and all the codecs that God ever made!

this is only a ten second sample file.
I used fraps to record pieces here and there...
then converted it to mpg with certain specs.

I had to compress it and lower the resolution,
and its still large. 3 megs for 10 seconds aint too good.

anyone know any better compressions or video codecs I can use?

despite my best efforts against mentok he pwned me,
a combine ball, smg shots and an smg nade cannot defeat the mighty xbow...
and mentok had some clout to nail me good too

these would be perfect for clan nights and are not limited to hl2dm...
you can record demos in all the steam games...
if anyone has any demos they want to showcase, send a demo...
tell us about where in the demo the "piece" is you want added.
right now its kinda limited to 10-30 second clips.
