here's the process...

record it first...
in the console type "record morbid001" or whatevever you want to call it.

I found a program called "fraps" which also records video and audio in-game.
I play the demo back at anytime by opening hl2dm and typing "playdemo morbid001"
I have fraps minimized and I hit F9 to start & stop recording.

when I'm done I go to the directory and there are many avi files,
I edit them with Virtual Dub and save them as new avi files using the Xvid codec.
then I can join them all together...

I have to save the audiotrack, then fix it (the volume) and put it back (using Cooledit Pro),
then I open Tmpgenc12a to convert the video file(s) to mpg.

this was the funniest moment last night.... in Plaza17.

I see Tbagger, I drop a greande and try to pick it up, luckily he had the AR2 out and shot a combine ball...
unfortunatley for him, I like to catch them.  and already had my ggun out.
As soon as he switched to the mag, I killed him with his own combine ball....
he was SO pissed off...
