GW tidbits and helpful links
« on: April 14, 2006, 04:18:17 pm »
There are different things to know and understand with the game play, so I figured I would post up some links of sites I use and find helpful. If you find any then please share them.

Concept builds - Want some ideas for character builds, then look here.

Collector directory - Collectors are important, especially in pre-seering to get your second armor. Here is a listing of where they are and what you need to get to trade with them.

Guild Wars Fansite Listing - I use Gwonline and guild wars guru mostly to look up any questions I have.

A good question asked by Draco last night was, "where do I get certain skills? Well, I found an answer with skill trainers. You will get new skills doing side quests as well.

Skill Trainer Listing

Well done listing of all the trainers in towns and outposts, what they have, and what each spell is even.

Also remember, a lot of comments are suggesting that some skills you can find earlier on by doing side quests.

I tried to pick up this big warrior dude standing behind me by flexing, but I guess that didn't attract him too much  :'(

Jes had commented on the server last night that her copy was very old and she didn't have the emotes card like the newer copies have - so there ya go...
You playing tonight?  I may try to play both DoD and GW tonight - I'm missing DoD.

Thankfully, the wife isn't home tomorrow so i can sit around watching my soaps and eating bon-bons like normal

At least that's what she thinks.

I found a bug last night.

To reproduce it, do this.  Go to Paiken Square and hire the henchmen - they are level 6 there.
Walk to Ascalon.  When you get there your henchmen are still level 6.

Now, do the same thing, only fast travel to Ascalon.
Now your henchment are level 3.

Do the reverse - grab your henchmen from Ascalon - they are level 3 there.
Fast travel to Paiken Square - they are now level 6.

Notice I did not say to rehire.  This happens to the henchmen already in your party.
