windows x64?

hey guys i was lookin round the net checkin prices for windows 64 and i noticed something. they have a student version and a regular. is there something actually different or what cuz the price dif is like $40-$50 depending on where u go. basically whould i go cheap w the student one or should i shell out the ectra 40 or so bucks for the"regular" version? thx for ur help as always guys

I know for sure that there's no difference in functionality between regular and educational versions of Microsoft and Adobe software, and I'm pretty sure that's generally the case.

I know with the student & teacher versions of office in the past, which were considerably
cheaper ($150) you had to call Microsoft to activate it and give them proof that you were
either a student or a teacher.
