feel free to check it out, host it, etc...

but i have to warn you... its not finished, there are areas that are under construction and not blocked off, by that i mean areas you can fall out of the station. you might wanna look at it before you host it.... in the meantime i will work on a version with those areas closed off until i can build more to it and wait for suggestions to make major improvements...

i think i sent you an earlier version w\o some of the modifications i listed previously,
its what i had on my thumb drive when i had the chance to send you an e-mail from someone else's house.

After playing it, i decided not to host it because of the reasons mentioned above.  Looking forward to a hostable version.   :mellow:

i hope it's up to par now with my latest version....
if there are any suggestions, feel free to post or send me a message.
i'm thinking of renaming it, now that it doesn't look so much like a habitat for rodents,
but i don't know if it will be a space station either.

i plan to make the map much bigger, i need to do some more research on ambient sound and other mapping techniques. i wish that elevators would work correctly
without the gittering... steam needs to fix that glitch.

i'm going to work on it some more now that i'm on vacation for a week and
i have nothing better to do, since i'm not going anywhere...

The jittering isn't fixable, but from what I understand you can use a method that involves teleports to mimic a smooth elevator that Rayven can't jam.

I know I saw it on the Steampowered forums, but I can't remember what the technique was.

I tried to look up more elevator tuts, no such luck... I think i'll leave well enough alone
for now. I'll give func_track_train a try again... I got some more tuts on that technique, it looks really complicated, but I've done worse with traps and the amount of triggers and imputs\outputs on them.

Let me know if you guys love or hate the map thus far, i still got some work to do to it my last few days of my vacation, i have some ideas i want to try out.

If any of you have a chance to play it, feel free to give me feedback on it. If it's not on the server, I might be able to e-mail it to you, once i get my internet connection set up. With my luck, we'll get DSL on my last day of vacation.
