I picked up Serious Sam II today.  Already finished with the first chapter of the game.

I don't know if I like it.  If you've played the first and second encounter, this is more of the same.  Overwhelming hordes of enemies in battlefield after battlefield.  A bit more cartoony, tho.  There's a couple bugs that are driving me crazy, too.

I want to play a really really long game, not a game like everquest.  I hate that game, my one room mate would play that game for days at a time....Anyone have ideas for a game that's really long??

Play DeusEx . its a little longer than hl2dm .its very similar to HL2 but , i felt the story line is much richer and there are multiple endings .I loved the endings

Morrowind.  Doesn't get any longer without an online component.

Morrowinmd, geez, i kinda hate that game. From the moment you stepp off the boat in the begining, you 1) cannot jump high 2) cannot run fast enough 3) cannot do anything. So i used the TESCS to give me a boost.  But other than that harry, its the best game out there for what your looking for.  And its onl;y 10 bucks at wal-mart. You will need to print off a map though. It come sin very handy at times.

Uh, Sav, that's the point.  You have to earn the jumps and speed.  You go buy an iron sword and go kill squibs and mudcrabs until you hit a level strong enough for you to take on larger animals or ghosts.  At which point you buy, steal, or find a magic item and go from there.  To get faster, run all the time, even when you are out of stamina.  To get better at jumps, bunny hop everywhere.  It's juts like in real life.  You don't start out able to sprint a marathon or jump onto the top of a house.

Once you get your speed and agility up, you end up jumping places because it is FASTER than taking the instant transport, believe it or not.

Harry asked for long, and Morrowind is that in spades.  I played that thing for months on end and never did EVERYTHING I could have.

I know Meph, i only used the Con Set the second time, i played through it. That game belongs in the hall of greats. I used to go out at sunset, and pick wickwheat and mershmerrow and make healing potions and sell them to the the....tribes out on the east coast.  I cannot think of thier names. Did ya ever work all the Haalu missions, and get ure own mansion on top of oad plateau.

I did all the house missions.  I would save, then start a house and go through it's missions, then restore and go through the next missions.

Try Final Fantasy 7 (again...) or GTA : San Andreas.

Morrowind IS great.  Very long though.

Anyone played X-Men Legends II yet?   I love the first one and I want to pick this one up for my PSP when it comes out on 10/18.
