Temple2 - terrible. Giant killbox that has no real lighting, just that bright light with no shadows of someone that didn't Rad the thing. Might be better with dark nooks and crannies, but I'm not impressed.
dm_dissipated - I was the only person on, and it was laggy. There doesn't seem to be a flow. Generic piles of physics objects with no explanation of why they are there.
dm_junkyard - very interesting map, but just flat out too unoptimized to play. Averaged about 15 FPS when they ball starts moving, and I have a great connection and a decent machine.
dm_mine - I like this map. Very techinally sound and interesting flow, but with 16 players it can be hard to find a fight, let alone playing with just a few people. Just too big, unfortunately.
dm_nuclear_alert_final - wtf? The map just makes no sense. In a firefight you get caught on all the *unmovable* boxes. What's with the buttons? Broken blast doors, elevators that appear out of nowhere, and just basically bad design. Didn't like this map AT ALL.

Lets ditch First Blood. I like that you can play in the cranes, but I hate dying for walking over a rock...

I though first blood was really cool at first being able to use the cranes and all. After I played it a few times, I noticed some drawbacks. There's no way to kill a person when they are in one of the cranes, not that it should be as easy as firing a rocket at them, but there should be a way to kill them. The sound needs some work. There's no ambient sound, no sound from the crane when it is operated, and. with the exception of cars, no sound when you are moving/dropping objects with the cranes. I don't know how to say this in correct map terminology, but the dying for seemingly no reason occurs when you walk past one of the containers that has been moved by the crane. Although it appears to you that you are walking alongside the container, the game thinks that you are under it, so you die. The map has been removed; hopefully, the author will fix these issues.

you can nix habitrail if you want... i know, its my map... but its too small and too laggy.
I didn't have any fun playing it the last couple times. once i have the new version completed it
will hopefully be alot better, and bigger... and more fun to play.
i'm glad you guys have been nice enough to play it and give me feedback.
i will take your comments to heart and do my best to make it a worthwhile
experiment in mapping.

Alcatraz. While this is a clan favorite, it really is laggy, and people don't like how once one team gets the upper hand with the bows, it's almost impossible to get off a spawn point for the other team.
Industry. Another Clan favorite, but there is no denying how incredibly bad the map is. Sometimes its like watching a slideshow when the server is full.
Both of these should be removed from the vote menu, but kept in the admin menu, I think.

Although some people are bored of them, alot of people are not (including myself) overwatch, powerhouse and lockdown should stay as being able to vote for.

Alcatraz - dont want to see go. That is one of my faves. Teams wouldnt be able to take over towers and hold them long.
Industry - Dont know the map by the name, so dont know.
I enjoy lockdown and overwatch, but Id rather have new maps on the list.
Should you take out ones that are not voted for often? If you start taking all the ones that are not voted for a lot, then the variety of the server would start lacking. I enjoy this server due to all of the different maps I have never played before, and the variety that we can play. I dont want to see this turn in to a server that plays the same five maps and thats it.
Id rather see the maps rotated through to make a variety. Some maps start getting played too much, then take them off of the rotation a bit to give it a break and have other maps played. Doesnt have to be long, but just to ensure that other maps get played. The list you made are not played due to everyone chosing the same maps to play every night.
Just my thought.

That's what's happening. Unless the map truly is a shitball, they stay on the server, just taken out of rotation. Admins can still set them up or line them in for a special vote. That way, we can rotate them back in easily when the maps start to get stale.
