In css where the emphasis is on team work ,  rushing solo is frowned upon infact its considered suicide . In most cases it is but I believe , the solo rush hasnt gotten its due . I have seen it work wonders but only when ,

*Done infrequently
*Take a buddy
*Rush hard
*Lots of nades

esp with a buddy its effective  , Many  a times i have rushed with Rambo club members Meph , Kerchief  and Major and have done  significant damage to the other team . What do you guys think of rushing solo or with a buddy as an idea ?

I don't usually rush solo. I do some solo work depending on the situation, but my tactic is usually a sneak attack, and I don't always do it.

I have done some solo rush, but it is depending on the situation as well. I think if it helps the team in some way then it is good.

You have to have a buddy/meat shield to run and gun. When Raven and I do the bum rush run we nade first then one runs in and does the "random fire" as I have been accused of. This significantly weakens the enemy then the second person in just has to land one or two shots each to finish them off.

Raven and I have wiped out entire teams with this tactic. But you have to move fast and catch them before they pick out thier camping spots 

Also be prepared to die quick. Like I usually do

ok i don't frown on the run and gun but comeon running in head on will get u killed fast but if u rush from behind they can't c u coming so you can do more damage in a smaller amount of time  just my evil thinking

I do a mix of the two.  I sneak up behind, then run in, guns blazing.  I seem to do this to good results about 50% of the time, the rest of the time I am the first to die and completely empty a clip into a wall.  Either way, it is a fun way to play, and I love doing it.  I am not a big fan of suspense, and 14 years of deathmatch have trained me to not be good at slow creeping like Dj.

Hehe, patience, my friends, patience.  Rushing can work when done as a team.  The worst type of rushing is when the bomb carrier goes off on a suicide run without saying a word.

When I get where the enemy usually goes, and I feel daring =P. I usually rush. People usually end up going in a pattern on a long map because one guy ends up killing me or something else at that spot if they rush.

Since there is a speed limit I can always predict what they'll do, there often won't be any surprises, and I can slightly alter where exactly I meet them at that point to shake things up. Of course if I see knowone I'll keep running forward, behind their spawn, then up the alternet route, then back to my own spawn. If any enemies took the other path, they are usually just making it up there, fighting my teammates.

Of course Italy is the most vibrant rushing map in my mind. =P So what I do, specifically, changes depending on the map layout...and, of course, how the enemy team is moving.

I like to rush "alot" but heh from time to time (rarely) I would move slow just to spot out a few campers, like dj and dw I surprise alot of them when I rush lol and see them walking slow and pop a shot into there heads (or shank).
I just can't  get use to walking slow and waitting for the team sometimes.

Yes I do agree with that. Theres nothing more aggrivating when you are battling with the team and you fight through then you look up the bomb is down on the other side of the map. When I have the bomb I try to stay behind and let everyone clear out the area first.

But you then have to watch out for the Meph and Kerchief types who like to circle around behind

Kercheif just sticks out in my mind as a great rusher

 I recall a week or 2 ago on Resident Evil where it seemed like every round us (the T's) no matter which way we went, either he would get us from behind or meet us head-on and either way he would annialate _(sp?) most of us and run off.

Yes Kerchief and Meph are great rushers . A little too good actually . If you spawn , buy weapons and wait long enough  , either one of them *will* come to your spawn . you can cap em and *still* have enough time for the mission  . I call it " waiting for the Rambos"

haha, I've never tried that. Usually I just try to beat the rushers and get the heck out of there.
