Topic: Read this before/after applying for clan membership !!!!

*If you have applied for clan membership or want to apply, read this carefully*

You have played on the severs for a while? Love playing with the killaz [Thank you], you registered with the site and have browsed through the different threads. You have seen the thread about joining the clan,? And now you want to be part of the clan, join the elite list? You have posted, gotten to know everyone and you have posted some more.

After some consideration you know you have good chance, so you put in your application using the clan app manager , you wait , holding your breath , waiting to hear a result , you want to know if you got  that reserved slot on the server, you want to know if you are getting that ping immunity, hoping you can join those wonderful clan nights , may I say drunken clan nights [Yes we have those.] You think having 5-6 KI playing at the same time makes the game more fun, wait until you play with 20 KI playing at the same time. You want to get access to the clan only section of the site, hoping to get all the inside jokes.

...... and what happens .... Nothing ....you wait a week more ... and ........still nothing ...very frustrating isn’t it? Surely it’s easy to decide on your application right? , after all you have been playing on our servers for a while and know most of us .How hard is it to vote on an application?? . Yes you have heard this mumbo jumbo you read on this thread, which talked about "Posting more”, “Getting to know You" blah blah.... .? Sure you have posted enough.... you think....let me in already,? you arrogant? %%@#$#@$ , acting as if you are all some prima donnas . Just tell me dammit .

Not so fast buddy. There is a reason why we do it this way.

   We like playing with you, we really do. We know you are a good player and follow the rules. The delay in your app has nothing to do with how you play on the server. But it is important that all members in the clan? Gets to know you? [Aren’t you sick of hearing that yet!]. If we put up a vote and if enough members don’t know you? The vote might go against your favor. So it is in your best interest to wait. There are close to 50 active members in the clan. Have you played with at least 25 members and know them? How many of them know you?

We take our own sweet time, not because we want to act superior or make it hard for anyone to get into the clan. Our main focus is to build a community, Make friends.

 Games come and go. It was DM one day, its TF2 today. But we realize it’s always more fun to play any new game with friends. We are looking for friends who will enjoy online gaming over time. There are lots of good players who play on our servers, lots of good players who follow the rules; we are looking for those folks who not only play fair and for fun but also who would fit in with our  current group. And what a group. We have civil engineers and computer programmers, crane operators and social workers, anime fanatics and hardware gurus. War veterans and stay home moms.

We are super nice to each other when we are not trying to kill each other on the servers. We help each other with our computer problems and even life problems. We give away cool stuff like awesome monitors to the other members [Thank you Quorn]. We wish each other Happy Birth days with the most number of smilies you have ever seen. We will rejoice with you over your children’s local talent show victory and mourn your pet’s loss. We will even do your taxes during tax time. Actually we don’t do taxes, but you get the idea. We are a pretty tight knit group.

We are looking to make a life long friend at best? And at least a pleasant acquaintance at the worst. And as in any community it takes time for every one to know you [..Seeing a pattern here].The average wait time before we put you in for a vote? *AFTER* you put in your application will be 1 Month. Some apps gets voted quickly, some vote takes a while, we discuss an application and *that might take a month* .So on a reasonable scale you are looking ATLEAST a month before you hear back from us.

If all this seem too much to you and you think this is BS then you are in the wrong place. Please go away. There are other nice clans where you would fit well. Not here. If you think all this makes sense to you and you are willing to invest your time to make friends with the Killaz for life. Wait, persist. It is definitely worth it,
