Ok, how do I put it up here? Neither photobucket nor the Uploader accept any of the file formats that inkscape uses (except .zip), and I don't think I have a program capable of converting it...
My current idea is adding two side halls, 3 doors that automatically open/close based on proximity, 2 doors that open/close based on hitting a button, and a battlements to provide cover for people guarding the portal from the walkway above. Is that too much?
I haven't been able to remember any bombsites with only one entrance which is why I'm proposing the extra hallways.

I never saw this as a new post for some reason, sorry Kerchief.
I wasn't ignoring your post, I didn't know anyone responded.
In Inkscape, go to "file" and "export bitmap", it will create a "PNG" file, which the uploader will let you upload.
If you want, you can convert it to another file type in Gimp or Photoshop.
The portal cannot be "used", transporters are not available in CS:S unless you are DJ.
I have been thinking of making doorways and sliding doors in blender for Source. I can make the doors
open any that we need (proximity or button triggered).

I'll have to look it over again, reposition things knowing that the portals won't work, Lol. Unfortunately, I can't do that this weekend, just finished getting dressed up to leave when my mom called to tell me that she is running a couple hours late. 6 hour drive to DC on Laborday weekend, for sister's wedding (gotta be there for the rehearsal too...), and I already wish I was back home, Lol. (no, I haven't left yet, but dressed up like this I feel like some kind of half Cherokee business exec)

well, the portals can be at the bomb sites... "protect \ blow up the gates".
I dunno. it would take some doing to make the gates breakable.
If you need any help with Inkscape, lemme know, there are alot of things you
can do with layers, gradients, grouping and booleans.

I'm sure I'll find some time to look at it this week, just got back from the sis's wedding.
I could certainly stand to learn alot out inkscape (what is a boolean anyway?), but I've succeeded at everything I thought to have the program do, so I'm happy with it.

basically, "booleans" are a technique of subtracting one object from another,
like a cookie cutter. You see this alot in 3d programs (3D Studio Max, Maya, Blender, etc.).
example>
look at and play with the processes in the "paths" tab,
namely "difference".
If you want to know how to do something specific, let me know, I'll try to make a short
tutorial in the forums (if I know how to do it, that is).
