does anyone know of a fan controller program that works well with the Evga 680i mobo? win xp pro overrides my bios settings and my fans get pretty loud because of this.  :-\

the best i saw was hardwaremonitor.it's the one you have to pay for but can get a free trial for a short time.but it did it all, all fanspeeds that could be monitored, cpu gpu temps, voltage on everything.it worked much better that the uguru software that came with my abit and way nicer than that crappy ntune junk from nvidia.

That's because Nvidia has their own monitoring software that runs on the 680 and 780 boards. Apparently, it is much much better than the crappy nTune software they used to use.

Check it out here

yea.. it seems like it will be cool, but right now it overrides my bios settings (runs fans at whatever it wants which is loud! i have 2x 250mm and 2x 120mm) and wont let me change a thing except for some options and the cpu/ram voltage.

it also crashes my system when i try to use the networking options, like teaming and peak performance boost. after i uninstalled this software my ping dropped 10-50 on average.

i think its the standard software for the 780.... but still in beta for the 680
