As a Pyro, I have more trouble with soldiers than scouts.

All I can hope to do is set him on fire, then retreat and bring him down w/ shotty.

Spies are situational and work better on larger teams.  A spy is no threat to a scout, and most competent soldiers can handle spies OK once they know they are there.  Sort of off-topic, I think 6v6 and 8v8 (with nothing but soldiers/demos, medics, and scouts) is not really that fun... Highlander all the way!

As a pyro , I have trouble against any good scout . A good scout ALWAYS kills me , Its is simple as get close to me for a micro second and use that stupid scatter gun and get away and finish me off from mid distance .

The #$%#$%#$%ing scatter gun is way too powerful . I wish I could play scout better . With the current settings they own .

p.s

The difference between 90% of all battles is number of engis/medics . More medics if you are offending[i.e attacking  :lol:] and more engis if you are defending . The number of spies , pyros  , communication to me seems to take second place .

Yeah, you make a good point: the more engies the defense has, the more medics the offense needs for ubering.  The more medics the offense has, the more engies are needed to make sure some guns are still up post-uber (although I think demo-stickies are the best counter to an uber).

It's come a long way - I'm actually one of the playtesters.  They're working on NS2 right now, which will be on Source.. they've shown off some pretty neat stuff, and hopefully we'll get to start playtesting it soon. *prays*   

I bounced from game community to community - started with pre-1.6 CS, then DoD, then NS, which is where I have most of my friends, and now I'm really only active in TF2.  I love this server so far - I'd play now but no one's on  :'(

I was on Youtube watching some TF2 videos, and I saw a sort of Soldier UberJump thing. As far as I can tell, it's perfectly glitch-free and hack-free, just takes a different angle when you fire the rocket, but I'm not sure what the kI opinions is. Is uberjumping okay (as depicted in several videos you can find on Youtube), or should we stick to normal jumps as much as possible?

well we were going to try super engy jump but that got patched

As far as I can tell, "uberjumping" is totally legit.  It is just a rocket duck-jump, if you will.  Space-ctrl-aim down and fire... seems pretty OK.

I totally love to join when there is no one on... I become, like ZOMG, this unstoppable juggernaut of victory!  I don't know why, really, I just find it easier to focus on capping points and stealing intel when no one is shooting at me...

it was setup on the train and when it went out of the building the tele stayed.that was pretty cool.
