I had a vista laptop networked off of a XP desk top and it did give me some problems, mainly in the printer sharing section.

i figured there would be some issues, i just didnt want my game rig to be excluded from file transfers to my other pc's running Xp

Once I reseated my mobo and vista kept giving me dump errors, I guess changing any hardware confuses it, I had to restart it in safe mode once and then it was fine
