still kind of a newbie around here, although my post ratio has gotten a lot better than my K:D ratio    a few curiosities:

1.  in the 'who's here' section on the left.. what do the different colors mean for names?
2.  what's 'justice' on everyone's profile?

sorry if these are answered somewhere else.  i like asking questions and being annoying (within reason)

the colors are what i believe to be the status of that member... like admin or noob or what ever

but i haven't seen theses for some time now. don't know what i did but they don't show up any more unless im not logged in.

justice is what meph was talking about when he said he was giving you a "jerk"

its a little thumbs up/thumbs down thingy... basically i guess.

Uber Admins are purple.  Supermoderators are green.  Server\Clan admins are Orange.  Clan members are blue.  Old Fart clan members are yellow.  Normal site members are grey.

Our version of a common 'karma' system forums use.  When you like a person's post you click the plus (bravo), when you dislike the post or they're a total dbag for a reason you can click the minus (jerk) to show it. We don't really take it seriously...except for with schneedy...that jerk has already carried over the limit on jerks...

1.  it's just a geeky little thing.. i was looking up the math/physics symbol µ on wikipedia a few days ago, for some forgotten reason.  it specified pronunciation as 'mew.'  i knew it was pronounced like that, but when it was spelled out like that in front of me, my brain tripped and i thought 'huh, same thing my cat says.'  i thought of a cartoon cat saying 'µ,' and since he was a physicist and had that famous thought experiment, i extended it to being schrödinger's cat.  and that explanation is why i waffled on using it as my avatar

2.  well now it belongs to the ages, now that meph answered.
3.  can only clan members bravo/jerk?  i don't seem to have that ability.

You have to be a Stun Sticker or above.  It is postcount based at 50 posts.

ooooh weird.. cuz after i asked, i started to see the bravo/jerk on the left.  that must have been my 50th post or thereabouts.  you can even bravo/jerk a private message.. bizarre
