To mention home-made brownies in the same sentence as any form of manufacted snack is heresy.  The inquisitor shall hear of this.

Except for I think milk.  I don't live in a place where I can home make that.  But still to compare homemade brownies to the product which shall not be mentioned is evil.

I guess that depends on how strict you are with your definition of manufactured.  Its definitely processed.

Wikipedia says "Manufacturing (from Latin manu factura, "making by hand") is the use of tools and labor to make things for use or sale. The term may refer to a vast range of human activity, from handicraft to high tech, but is most commonly applied to industrial production, in which raw materials are transformed into finished goods on a large scale."

Which I would argue does include today's milk, which is both pasteurized and reduced in fat and also may have added vitamins.

Yes I realize this was overkill....but its my application post gosh darn it!

If I ask you where milk comes from, you would immediately think of an animal.  What if I were to ask you where Cheeseitz come from?  Would you answer Lance?

Now that I'm doing it for someone else's amusement it has lost some of its luster.  It was nice chatting with you Kerchief, but I was just being obstinate and for that I apologize.  Milk is not manufactured, at least not like Cheese crackers are.  Therefore I officially end this rather boring discussion. And declare that everyone except for bubba, due to his previously mentioned transgression, should have some brownies.  Not that I or I would guess badeasy is likely to make them, you lazy bums.

Long as it's all fun and games.  Despite the fact that I was absolutely certain you were wrong, you still made me consider why I don't consider milk to be manufactured.  :)
