also been working on my desktop too

pulled the IHS off my 460s

since im on a very small budget i tried to be green and reuse the old heatsinks from my 260s.

a little love from a dremel, sandpaper and doublesided thermal tape :dremel:

finished!

not a bad upgrade for only the cost of a UPS trip to RMA my 260s

thanks man.

ill post some pics of the desktop after get the tubing ran. just waiting on UPS

i had originally ordered 6 rolls of 3/8 ID Fesser tubing cuz the 8' rolls were only $1.60 ea. on clearance @ microcenter, but turns out its has a 1/16" wall which kinda wont work for the bends im running.

so i went and ordered some Tygon for the first time. got 15' of 7/16 ID @ JabTech for $36 shipped. normally i go with Masterkleer cuz its so cheap but the Tygon was only $1.80 per foot this time (normally its like $3.00 per foot) and since the Masterkleer gets so cloudy after about 4 months i figured it was time to try some high end tubing.
