If you have an invalid email address for your account, those PMs are sent IN FULL to the catch all killazinc.net email address BECAUSE THEY BOUNCE.

That's right, we get to see them whether we want to or not.

PLEASE for the love of all that is holy set a valid email address in your profile.

Meph a question?. Why does sending a private message through the site require a valid email account?. Arent the PMs stored in the forum's database?. Is it because of PM notifications?. I dont see any settings for it thou.

Yes, there is a setting for notifications that people don't realize they can change.  It is under "Personal Message Options" in your profile.

I assume he's referring to the password you use to login to the forums.

More than like it's stored with a irreversible hash, like MD5 or SHA, meaning they couldn't see what it was even if they wanted to, but they'll have to confirm this.

the one to login to the forum etc. usually only comes up when i clear all my cookies and whatnot.

I just assume that the only thing protecting my privacy is the discretion of our benefactors.  But I do keep a valid email address, discretion doesn't do much when you shove something in someone's face.

Its an MD5 hash.  We have no way of seeing your password.  We can, however, reset your password to something we know if the police tell us too, Gene, so stop it with the prostitution.
