3Dmark really depends of the CPU score: overclocking your Q6600 (it is you that got that huh :P) will get you a nice score.

your so right. but to be fair to my quad.... my E6750 (dual core)had no chance in hell keeping up with my 2 8800s.

yeah quad core I think is best for Multi GPU solution. without a doubt.  :)
