I'd rather not bother with vista Gene. I guess I'll go with 32bit xp.

I stuck 64-bit vista on someone's computer, Lots of driver issues, even with 64-bit drivers, and it stopped working once when he managed to install a starforce protected game, wouldn't even boot up normally

My Vista ultimate 32x disk was corrupted and wouldn't install correctly (remember the posts about not recognizing USB ports?).  My Vista Ultimate 64x works perfectly and I haven't had any driver issues, other than Razer sound cards.

So far (finger's crossed) I haven't run into any Vista 64x issues yet.  DJ has been running vista 64x for a long time now, so hopefully he can weigh in.

Razor is in close partnership with MS.  Razer even makes several Microsoft keyboards and mice...

I used XP 64 bit for at least a year without any big problems.  It wasn't any less stable than 32 bit XP.  I couldn't find drivers for my printer and scanner, but that was about three years ago.

I've been using Vista x64 since it was released.  I have it running on my main PC, a pre-vista laptop, and a box I use as a server.   I've had absolutly no problems finding drivers for any of my hardware, both old and new.

I haven't come across a piece of software yet that doesn't run on a 64 bit operating system.

I'm not going to go into technical details, but Vista x64 is also more secure than Vista 32 bit.

Unless you have a piece of ancient hardware with no 64 bit drivers, or use a 16 bit piece of software (which is rare), then I go ahead and use Vista x64.
