2.  Anything that I drag from place to place in the game - like moving enhancements around on the management screen - have cut off icons.  while dragging, only the upper left third of the icon is visible.

Actually, it was a question about performance under vista, so it is perfectly fine here.  What would be less valid here is complaints about using the wrong thread for something that is perfectly fine in that thread.

On another not i find vista's startup time to be suck worthy..dont get me wrong the windows screen appears fast but it takes too long to load everything. Example:steam,antivirus and even the drivers for the network card.I say the drivers because im not sure bit there is a big red x thru the mini icon until everythins all loaded up

No load time issues here, then again I don't run alot, and I have an optimized OS install. Just search Vista Extreme Edition, modded by Amit Aghara. He did a great job.

To get back on the topic  I find that boot up is long... You can't do anything about it though. At least they make the screens pop up fast so that you feel that its faster but... when you start an app theres no response until boot is finish.

IDK man... I already am in a mood of arguing  there is a category meph called ''hardware'' in the forum and you can often see me arguing. take a tour
