I've been using the beta 177.92 drivers for awhile now.  If the 178's are as good as those, then you should see an increase in many of your games.  didn't seem to effect Source, tho, for me.

AARRGGHH.  I just reinstalled my drivers last weekend in an attempt to overcome my problems with CS:S.  I should list "installing drivers" as one of my hobbies.

I'm running 177.83 and I'm downloading this new 178.13 right now. I know that I don't have to uninstall the old driver first, but is it recommended? Or is it just as fine to simply install 178.13 over top my current 177.13? Thanks.

Ryan

i don't know if there technically a right way to do it. but i always uninstall the old ones first. then restart, clean up my system drive of all the junk and temporary files, restart, defrag and install the new drivers.

oh.  whoops.  I just installed over it all.  I kinda assumed that nvidia would uninstall the old drivers first for me.  dammit rob why didn't you warn me in advance!  :P
