just saw this in update news

Added the ability to tie game servers to Steam Community groups. Group administrators can now see the GroupID on the group's administrative page, which can be used as the value for sv_steamgroup. Users that are in that group will then be able to browse directly to them from the main menu

I have just heard from a friend of mine that Left 4 Dead will be available in full at 12:00 Midnight PST (On Monday). If that is true, Im frickin staying up to play it!

Sorry I meant to say it was going to be released Monday night at 12:00 Midnight PST. As I said I am not certain this is true, I just heard from a friend.

If you go to left4dead411.com you can see an official countdown to the time when it will be released.

I preloaded the morning after they released the preload (was on steam when they released it, but didn't feel like doing the download right then)

this is my first time preordering on Steam, so if my friend (bosstone, you might have seen him on the server) hadn't let me know, i'd be d/ling like a chump tomorrow.

thats how i got the orange box. 

i NEVER per-ordered a game before before or since then. it was mainly the price and fear of laggy downloads on the release day that reeled me in.

im not cool enough to have any of these newer games tho.

no, my PC ran the Demo ok. its more along the lines of sh*tty economy hitting my area pretty hard.

im down to 32hrs a week at my main job and only 5-10 hrs a week at my second job. needless to say nows not the time to go out and buy all the new titles that are getting released.
