Interested to know what you folks have running to keep the evils away.... firewalls, antiviruses, ip range blockers etc.... anything

i have a firewall on my router......
other than that i use AVG 8 free and dont click on stuff thats n00bish.

nope I have only got one virus in about 6 years and that was about 6 years ago. Not worried here. I don't see all the extra crap bogging the puter down.

I haven't had any AV program installed in about a year. I have never had a virus on my home pc so I figured I would take my chances. I keep my risks extremely limited though.

Network Address Translation and good habits on my gaming partition. The other partitions... not so much. I rely on Avast and a couple of anti-spywares.

I use School-provided Symantec Endpoint Protection, plus a firewall on my router. Also have Spybot and Adaware installed, just in case. Spybot and Symantec run a full scan every night.
