nowhere on your site can i find info for vent for you guys.  search just pops up a bunch of bs.....get a vent.....or do i have so host it myself on my server box?  you will have to pay me of course because the server i have runs pretty high wattage:P

i wait and wait and wait for you guys to get online whatnot to play cs......none of you are on my friends list and i KNOW that some of you are online when im awake.  you HAVE to have a vent server that you are hiding from me.

Well me and my friends use vent for scrims...but in kI's point it would be kinda usless as nanaki said you can just talk in the server.

I never really understood using vent for scrims.  Doesn't that let your dead teammates talk to the live ones?  Isn't ghosting a problem?

Basicaly every scrim team has vent or teamspeak. We usualy use ingame chat until we realise that the other team is using vent then we use it.

using vent for scrims is pretty much necessary Kerchief. When you scrim it is only your team on vent, and you want to know where your dead players died from, ghosting is not actually possible as there is no way to see the other team or use free cam to roam the map looking for the opposite team. This makes teamwork much more viable for winning a match.

on most servers when they do a LO3 voice chat is set to 0 so you cant chat over CS.
also vent allows people to talk when they they are not on the server thus i can
come into the vent and tell you people to start playing.

also when it comes to scrims, if you use voice chat its a possibility that they could have alltalk on....
but not use it....which would basically......screw your team. 

vent allows you to communicate with other members who are playing other games.
