shouldn't it be like fallout 3? if you have the parts and the schematic, you can make it granted you find a workbench?

Got mine this morning.  Very nice package.  The box is a faux distressed leather.  Inside is faux velvet lined.  The casino chips are full weight clay chips, and the Lucky 38 is metal - not sure what kind, but looks double stamped for nice clear detail.

Correction: the chips are weighted plastic.

Alright, few things.

Initial town doesn't seem to have anywhere near the amount of quests that Megaton did.

There is nowhere in town to rest.  Head west, outside of town to the Yangzhe Memorial.  There is an abandoned shack there.  No storage, tho.

There is a perk that makes you gay (if you play as a man).  Not kidding.

There is a trait called "Wild Wasteland" that has you see weird stuff every once in awhile.

Black Mountain Radio is hilarious.

I cant figure out how to use the weapon mods.  When someone figures it out, please can you let me know?

Nevermind, figured it out.  You select the weapon you want to modify, and then press X...see the top right of the pipboy.

Also, i'm going to try to stash stuff in the closet in the Dr's house.

Yeah, lots of white flashes in my version, and they've changed the terrain so it's not *as* free-roam as before...I used to be able to jump up rocks/cliffs to get to places, but now they have invisible walls to keep you from going the "wrong" way to a location.

Seems harder than Fallout 3 - I want my specialty plasma rifle!

Crashing a LOT now.  I can't buy cards from merchants anymore.  Crash to desktop.  I approached a hostile just now, crashed to desktop.

Just had my first in-game crash too. About to approach a friendly for a mission...then bam, crashed.
