30 tabs!  That's way too much multi-tasking for my uni-tasking brain to handle.  I max out at *maybe* eight tabs.

lol most i end up with is a dozen and they're just pictures.

I can understand how it can be annoying with that many tabs though.

The tab candy, or whatever they decided to call it, looks pretty cool.  It's supposed to be included in the next beta of FF4.  http://mashable.com/2010/07/23/tab-candy-firefox/

That IS pretty sweet...

I middle click down the page, starting a tab for every story I am interested in, then I read them.

Sounds familiar, Meph.  I really like the single close button.  That's enough to get me frustrated with tab close on the tab.

Only use FF, don't care what programmers say how it looks different when rendering pages vs IE and other browsers, pages look just fine to me.

My main concern is that FF is not as good at sandbox, now.  Even IE8 is more secure and allows less access to the core OS.  Chrome is easily the most secure of the mainstream browsers, followed by IE8, then FF.

The next build of Chrome may have the tab management you are looking for.
