Deus Ex Human Revolution
« on: December 11, 2010, 06:32:25 am »
Saw the trailer at PAX... laughed at it since the presenters that were playing the demo made the game crash twice.. once you can actually see some code..
but still it was pretty awesome.

Just preordered the "augmented edition" for PC (steamworks) which is 10 bucks cheaper than the consoles

Quote
Putting money down at a retailer that isn't GameStop will score players the Tactical Enhancement Pack, which comes with a Huntsman Silverback Double-Barrel Shotgun, the Longsword Whisperhead Extreme Range Sniper Rifle, and extra credits to spend in game.

GameStop preorders will secure the Explosive Mission Pack, packed with a Linebacker G-87 multiple shot grenade launcher, the M-28 Utility Remote-Detonated Explosive Device, an automatic unlocking device, and an entirely new mission to play through, featuring a cameo by a character from the original Deus Ex.

GameStop Pulls PC Deus Ex: Human Revolution From Shelves

Comes from this article where "they have been removing the codes for free copies of the OnLive PC version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution from the new PC copies of the game they sell at their stores and selling the game, without the free bonus, as new."

Just started playing yesterday, starts off slow, but I'm liking it, and best of all it plays smooth on the laptop. Can't test DX 11, but I'm sure it's just as nice.

Looking for a recommendation

I am buying this game, but can't make up my mind, if I want it for PC or Xobx360. Any suggestions?

I do appreciate the finer controls of the mouse for FPS, but it is also tempting to enjoy this game on a large screen.

There is fee of  $.50 for reading this post . PM me for payment details .

Smoke is right - if you have anywhere near a modern video card, just use your DVI or HDMI out port and play it on your big screen.

I would *never* buy a FPS for Xbox.

30 hours in, finally beat one playthrough of it.

Who did you side with at the end?
