Always PC for shooters.

While you get a little back story from Crysis, it isn't important in this case.  But play Crysis 1 because it is a good game.

The first time I played Crysis 2, I spent most of the time looking around at the graphics because I was so impressed by how good the game looks.  At the time, I had no idea the game doesn't use DX11.  It's 2011 - I think a cutting edge game is one that looks beautiful and can be played without lag on current generation hardware.

played through and beat it twice on zealot (i think??) and supersoldier. I'm still just as impressed with it as i was with Crysis. Thing is, i really think people just need to get over their super ego's and just play the game for fun and not to bash the slightest little problem crytek might have made. I can see why they made it go to the platforms because of the market value for one, and because most likely (just guessing here) they wanted to open up Crysis and the Crytek engine to consoles as well. But as for the game itself, i bought it for my 360 and it looks beautiful, even on dx9 graphics and an HD 32" tv. My personal rating is a 9.4/10. It was a terrific game and has some outstanding gameplay and multiplayer is pretty decent, when you don't get exploiters >_<
