If VZ starts bricking phones, the lines at AT@T and Sprint will be out the door and around the corner. Can you imagine going in to Best buy buying an HP laptop only for it to brick the instant you did something HP didn't like. People hate the cell phone companies already, and you know every one of us is looking for a reason to jump carriers from time to time. This will give the reason to do so. Its kinda like the straw that broke the camels back :tickedoff:

The ONLY way I can see them doing this legally is with new contract agreements. Somehow throwing in some crooked verbiage like sprint did with the premium service charge on the 4g phones.

I dunno it would get ugly when 600 dollar smart phones start bricking because of how you use them.  :-\

Been playing with chainfire3d pro and it's plugins.. It is supposed to make certain games that don't run on some devices run.

Also the bali 3.3uv kernel is sweet. running 1.2 GHZ oc with no voltage increase stable.

Multi mount SD-card is nice.

Sms to swype I'm testing

Script manager im testing

addfree is cool

I'm using gosms for sms client, what are you all using?

thinking abut installing swype 3 beta and TW launcher pro "4.5"

my phone has TWlauncher natively (samsung Infuse) and i like it..

for texting I use TextPlus, though it uses another number other than my own to send texts, it is free for me since if i send it using that app, it uses data, and it ends up as a text on the receiving end.

I am using adw.

I am using a different rom right now with bali 3.3uv and voodoo lagfix/sound and chainfire pro with the nvidia plugin.

Gotta update my sig.

Also using the new 2011 market app, swype 3.0 beta

The 2011 market allows movie rentals. Haven't tried it yet, but looks cool.

wasnt sure if this justified its own thread but yea.

have any of you guys been getting the free apps from the amazon app store?

ive been visiting every day and its worth your time to check it out. they have a normally paid app for free each day!  :o

todays is pretty awesome. helped me go from 7 home screens down to 4. my phones general performance is a bit quicker now too. i think having my home screens almost full was slowing me down.

anyway check it out.

Yep, I love the Free App of the Day. I ended up getting Plants vs. Zombies and a couple of other free games and apps from there.

If you want links they're in the sig.

Performance is very nice on gingy. never going back to froyo.

The Specific tweak i have installed also have a universal tweak if you're on gingerbread, may want to test it out

don't fear the beta, v7 is stable.

From your Droid's home screen, press menu>settings>about phone, then press Android version rapidly several times in a row. Enjoy the artwork!

Confirmed to work on the D3.  Pretty funny.
