Like everyone I had always hoped they would make a movie based on the board game Battleship... err a not really.

Anyway someone apparently did.

WTF?  I guess it give you some marketing momentum but I don't remember a story in that game.  I think somebody just played Crysis and thought they would turn that last hour of that game into a movie.  Then they realized that video games turned to movies usually suck... bad.  How about board games to movies?

Fatal mistake!  Put a pop star in a movie, you know it's gonna be awful.

(watched the trailer ... transformers on water? :p)

...yeah... movies these days.. i posted it on another thread that people are making asteroids and space invaders the movie.
good named producers, but... horrible idea.
