That's what I've been doing.  Or starting a local server if I have the map on my machine.

open HL2DM through the steam launch app.You should get the spalsh screen with ,

Find Server
create server
disconnect
options
quit

click on create server and select he map .viola you have your own server .

[remeber the batch file Dj gave us connects  us directly in to the KI  server ,bypassing the menu ]

remember the first Post in this thread has the list of maps NOT yet available on the gallery
.pick from that list and send it to killazinc@killazinc.net ,make a post here so no ine repeats them
