Alright, so all of a sudden my computer starts up with the welcome screen. So I go to control panel and turn off the welcome screen. Now when I start up it goes to a logon screen like Im loggin on a network. Anyone know how I can get my computer just to start up without having to do anything extra.....

Are you comfortable with modifying the registry?

Sorry Harry, I worked late today, and when I got home, I hopped right on the server because I saw a post about someone needing to be banned.
Go to this Registry branch:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Edit (or create new) the following keys: (They are string values)
AutoAdminLogon 1
DefaultUserName <the username you wish to use>
DefaultPassword <the password for the above username>
Keep in mind that the password is stored as plain text in the registry. If for some reason you want to bypass autologin, hold down the shift key during Windows Startup.

Try adding another key called AutoLogonCount. Whatever you set this value to will be the number of autologins you are able to do before having to reset the value. The max is something like 42000.
