ok i dont know know wtf it is but its starting to piss me off...every once and a while i will be playing a game and bam it will minimize.i see a open program on the bottom toolbar pop up and that fast its gone..is there any way i can monitor what programs run..i know ctrl/alt/delete but this thing is on and off in a heart beat..i need something that records the history of what has ran since bootup.i ran all of my spyware,addware and antivirus and nothing...

it could be a trial program which popups a trial license expiry message ,but auto closes due to o/s issues . Are there any trial programs in ur add/remove list

i had the same issue once .in well timed intervals the game would minimize and tracked it down to some keylogger hunter or some crap i had on the system trying to tell me that the trial license had expired . things where smooth after i removed that .

you cas e seems to be the same . some time based application/service  is  starting on its own ,creates a window , takes foucs and then disappears/closes it self

Check your task list (task manager) for suspicious programs.  Also, check the windows task scheduler to see if anything unusual is there.

I use WinPatrol, it tracks dirty programs that try to run in the background, and lets you disable them.

yea but it doesnt keep track of those hit&run programs.
