Wow! I never posted here?  Ooppps.  Well to the point:

Slightly shorter story: god of shadows

Chosen cause I like mythology, most other god names were taken and it has the same start as my real name.

Side note, cause its late and that's how I operate: Edith Hamilton's Mythology is an excellent book.

Thanks all. I got pointed to this clan by Mentok from GPUReview.com. I've had some really fun times playing TF2 on your servers.

Batt I believe could appreciate where my name came from...

I originally got the name from the Batman character the riddler.. Whos name in the comics was Edward Nigma.. thus E. Nigma

I figured enigma to be a good name because it seems nobody understands me (look me and Kurchief might have something in common after all :P)  j/k chief

hehehe, my classmates and i totally hated that book in high school, but i love it now.  good, concise stories, lots of tales, nice illustrations.

Heya! I guess I'm the newes member as of right now, so I'll make this my first post.

Anyone who's asked me, has brought up the movie Tron for some reason. While tht might apply, not so here. I first came up with User because I wanted something simple. But it was too simple. So, after a bit of thinking, it quickly became User Friendly.

Why?

To be funny. After seeing how Team Fortress 2 tells you who you just got pwned by, it seemed comedic if the display showed that you had just been hacked to death with a bonesaw by guy named User Friendly.

Of course, now that only leaves th tag [LH]. [LH] is the tag line for Legendary Heroes, a Steam Group that formed over the forums at urealms.com. But, I think I'll be removing it since we're very inactive, our server is down, and no one even games on the same server.

Yeah, that is pretty funny name. I tell you, as medic you are pretty friendly to your mates :). I saw a guy the other day named CANCER. Some other guy on the server said, "Man, cancer kills fast these days." It was a laugh.

I didn't think about it as a medic. But yeah, seems lots of people are picking these parody names. ^_^

Did [LH] run a Deathmatch server?  That tag looks familiar from those days.

Nope, at least not this LH. I believe Rob (the old leader), did mention something about another LH he'd been in that had disbanded back on the urealms forums. I'm not exactly sure, but our clan was younger and we only had a single TF2 server.

Figured I would explain my name.

See, it all started when I started playing games about 16 years ago.\
Now back then, in the NES days of Contra and Megaman, there was no "profile"
All you could do was press start to play, there were no control schemes, or colors/insignias, reverse aim, auto lookahead, toggle/hold crouch, or whatever.
So upon starting a game of Contra, you could be Billy or Lance, so I of course had to be Billy, seeing as how I had no friends to play with me, you couldn't even pick your character. Moving forward, they started to release some games in the future, that DID have profile options, ALLOWING for a name to be put in.
These mainly started on the Nintendo64 as far as profiles go, and not just "save" file names. The Ps2 really boosted this forward, becoming very customizable, and even having it's own GUI OS to use EVEN when there WASN'T a game in. Now we have many computer games, which are becoming quite advanced these days. I started to play Counter-Strike: Source, not long ago, and despite many coercive ideas, I had this great idea to pick the name "Phil".  How did I get Phil you ask? Well it's my real life first name. That's it. Now I will keep typing useless things after the conclusion so you will not speed read to the bottom and realize I was being smartaleck this whole time. I will now finish the explanation with a questionable ending, so even if you do speed read, it will make you curious what is above.  So after all these years, of debating, that is why I picked the name Phil, seeing as how it may be very random, and odd, that is the true reason I picked the name, its very inspirational to me.

my name is lol.

it use to be HOTPOCKET from those crazy hotpocket's commercials where that crazy asain dude came out of no where and was like "YOU NOT HUNGRY FOR GIRL!! YOU HUNGRY FOR HOTPOCKETS!!!!"

so that was about 1-2 years ago. then last year or the year before i was with this tf2 community that was awsome. they always were calling me fat and stuff so i changed it to LEANPOCKET to show them that im not fat anymore. and it jsut stuck. lol.

my real name is josh btw.
if i cant eat it, its not worth anything to me.
