What I did was to set my mouse's extra thumb button to "g"
So when I push the button it is just like reaching over and pressing the gravgun toggle (pressing g once gives you grav.  Pressing g again gives you your previous weapon).  So I switch to nades, alt fire (right mouse) the grenade to just drop it, press my thumb button, alt grav gun (right mouse button) to pick up the nade, primary fire to shoot it across the map, then thumb again to switch back to nades for the nest throw.

My grav gun key is ENTER. Its right above sprint so its real easy for me :)

My grav button is mouse 4. Makes it really easy for me to catch a nade, or another object. Just have to press my thumb real quick and Im switched.

Yup, I do it all with my mouse.  right mouse button to lob nade short, center mouse click in is (g) grav gun,right mouse button again to catch.  All while looking slightly up, not straight on.

wow... i'll try different key (& mouse button) binds and see what works best for me,
and practice it.... i have the right click as walk forward now... and ctrl as alternate fire... have to re-config that maybe. thanks for the tips..

Hey I've faught with you guys since i started playing HL2. I just got through accually, but i would like to know if i could join you alls clan. I dont get the spawn thing yet cause i cant tell if they just spawned or not if i turn a corner, but i'm working on it. So if i could try to get some consideration. Warning: I use the crowbar alot. I like the sound and it's just funny :wacko:
