omg great stuff guys! the hl2dm server is gunna be prettty empty for longer now lol.  i just wish it wouldn't instamapchange like that.....i want to show off my 100+ kill score

Seems like a pretty good mod.  It seems like they're doing a good job of keeping the game's original style of play.  I don't think there's much that can be complained about since it's an alpha version, except for the fact that there's no score display at the end of the map, so maps change without notice.  Overall, it's fun to play.

Dj, could you put the golden gun mode on ?

It just enables the golden gun which is one shot, one kill. Only 1 bullet though, gotta reload all the time so its fair.

got the golden gun finally.  a VERY basic model lol and i haven't gotten a kill with it yet i apparently have very bad aim with it....the server is seeing a lot of traffic and i had a few campers here and there.  kinda hard to police the server when all i can do is just ask them not to.  i've given up on posting on the forum

i dunno lol i guess im just used to fps games and i just imagine where the shots gunna be as if there was a crosshair.  tho i've yet to hit crap with the golden gun

its just sitting in one spot and shooting when some1 pops in front of u there's no strategy to it.  just sitting and waiting, clicking the mouse, then more sitting and waiting.

it plays well for a alpha.  a handful of bugs (nothing too horrible), some weapon balance issues (give me a shotgun and i'll get a nice handful of kills before i die), and only 4 maps are the only negative things i have to say about it.  oh and the reload times are rediculous.  the shotgun reloads faster than the pp7 lol

I got a few kills with the Golden Gun.  There's no crosshairs, just like the original game.  Spawn camping/killing is a problem, just like in hl2dm.  Right now, the admin plugin doesn't work with this mod, so there's no type of punishment that can be given out for spawnkilling, so for now, I'm not even bothering enforcing the rule, except when a few people complain about someone spawncamping.  At that point, I'll kick them.  The server is definetly seeing a lot of traffic.  I've come across some cool people so far.

Im not complaining about the spawn kill rampages that were goings on. It was kinda fun, its just the alpha anyway. Not like we could really hold the rule to it.....right?
